Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between influencer seeding and an influencer marketing campaign?
Seeding means sending products to a network of creators, with no obligation to post, to generate spontaneous content at scale. If a creator does talk about the product, the post still has to be disclosed (for example, “prodotto inviato da…”, product sent by…). A campaign involves agreed collaborations with selected creators, with set content, timings and goals.
Which industries do you work with?
Fashion, beauty, luxury, food, home furnishings, tech and retail, including outlets and shopping centres. Our projects include The Bridge, Dolce & Gabbana Beauty, Oakley and Mondo Convenienza.
How do you measure a campaign’s results?
We agree the KPIs at the start, such as impressions, reach, engagement rate and number of pieces of content. When the campaign ends, we deliver a report with the results and an archive of the content.
Do you manage brands’ social channels too?
Yes: strategy, editorial plan, photo and video content and day-to-day channel management, as we do for the Svicom group’s shopping centres, including Bicocca Village and Centro Palladio.
If you have your own talent roster, can you be impartial when choosing creators?
We choose creators based on the brand’s goals and audience, not on whether they are on our roster: they may come from our roster, the Friends of AMA network or the wider market.
What should an influencer contract include?
A good contract sets out who the parties are, what content is to be posted, on which channels and by when, how it is approved before going live, the fee and payment terms, usage rights (channels, duration, use in advertising), permission to use the creator’s image and name, any exclusivity, the obligation to label the content as advertising and what happens if either party fails to deliver. At Amagency, contracts are handled in-house and every agreement is checked before signing. The ad disclosure rules set by AGCOM (Italy’s communications regulator) are covered in our guide “AGCOM influencer rules in Italy: brand and creator duties”. Every contract needs tailoring to the case in hand.

How much does an influencer cost?
There’s no rate card: the fee depends on the creator’s community, the format, the number of pieces of content, usage rights and any exclusivity, which is why we price every quote around the project. Each cost item is explained in our guide “Influencer campaign costs: what drives the price”.

How much does an influencer marketing campaign cost?
It mainly depends on how many creators are involved and how much work goes on around the content, from strategy to the final report. Tell us your goal and a rough budget in the quote request and we’ll suggest the best mix. What to compare between two quotes is covered in our guide “Influencer campaign costs: what drives the price”.
